Fees

Note that these fees are generously subsidised by the Archdiocese of Brisbane to keep them as reasonable as possible and to make Santa Teresa available to as many people as possible.

Live-In Individual and Group Bookings

Live-In Individual Retreatants $150

  1. Accommodation $70 per room overnight
    Unless otherwise previously arranged arrival is normally from 4pm and vacating of room is after breakfast on the day of departure.
  2. Meals $80 per person per day (see sample menu)
    There is a surcharge of $12.50 per person per day for gluten free and vegetarian plated meals and $15 per person per day for all other special diet plated meals.

Live-In Groups $150 per person plus hire of facilities

  1. Accommodation $70 per room overnight
    Unless otherwise previously arranged arrival is normally from 4pm and vacating of room is after breakfast on the day of departure.
  2. When married couples share a double room there is a $15 additional charge to the accommodation fee to cover laundry costs.
  3. Meals $80 per person per day (see sample menu)
    There is a surcharge of $12.50 per person per day for gluten free and vegetarian plated meals and $15 per person per day for all other special diet plated meals.

Santa Teresa is a fully catered facility provided by Mary-Clair’s Gourmet Delicacies & Catering. Due to hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements, we are unable to permit groups/individuals to bring in their own food.

Day Group Bookings

Day Groups $40 or $50 per person plus hire of facilities (see below)

Package 1: $40 includes morning tea / sandwich lunch with fruit / all day tea & coffee. (see sample menu) There is a surcharge of $12.50 per person per day for gluten free and vegetarian plated meals and $15 per person per day for all other special diet plated meals. This price includes a levy of $10 per person per day towards the running costs of the Centre (eg power, cleaning and general maintenance)

Package 2: $50 includes morning tea / buffet lunch with salads and fruit / all day tea & coffee. (see sample menu) There is a surcharge of $12.50 per person per day for gluten free and vegetarian plated meals and $15 per person per day for all other special diet plated meals. This price includes a levy of $10 per person per day towards the running costs of the Centre (eg power, cleaning and general maintenance)

Meal Surcharge on Public Holidays
A 15% surcharge applies for meals served on a public holiday.

Hire of Facilities

Group in Bathersby Room
  • Lisieux Place (includes Santa Teresa chapel and formation centre, outdoor space & servery) (max 65 people) $350 per day There is an additional charge of $100 for groups larger than 50.
  • John Bathersby Formation Room (max 30 people) $300 per day
  • Couderc Cottage Formation Room (max 20 people) $250 per day
  • Francis Rush Meeting Room (max 15 people) $150 per day

Spiritual Direction / Facilitation

Chapel

(These are guidelines provided by Catholic Religious Australia)

  • Fees to be negotiated and paid directly and separately to the Director by the group
  • Spiritual Direction/Companioning $55 per hr
  • Facilitation of Retreats/Spiritual Formation $220 per day

Booking Policy

Swale

Enquiries for retreats/spiritual formation bookings will be checked for availability and a provisional booking offered by email within 3 days of receiving request by phone or email.

Individuals or groups need to confirm their booking by completing and returning a booking request form within 14 days of being advised of their provisional booking. A deposit may be required.

Final numbers and special dietary requirements need to be given at least 3 days before the commencement of the booking. Payment will be determined on this information.

Late changes (within 3 days of arrival) to booking requirements (eg reduction/increase of the number of guests) will be at the discretion of the Centre and may incur extra costs.

Cancellation of a confirmed booking will incur the following costs:

  • When more than 3 month’s notice is given, no fees apply.
  • When between 2 weeks and 3 months notice is given, a $50 administration fee is payable
  • When less than 2 week’s notice is given, 10% of the booking payment is payable

Payment

Payment by cheque or credit card can be made at the conclusion of the retreat/spiritual formation booking to the Centre Supervisor

An invoice will be mailed within 7 days of the booking and payment required within 14 days. Only one invoice will be issued for a group booking.
