Pope Leo XIV has declared 2026 to be a Jubilee Year of St Francis, honouring the 800th anniversary of the death of St Francis of Assisi.
Individuals and groups are warmly invited to our next Powerhouse of Prayer event, which will be held on Saturday, 20 June from 9:00am-3:00pm at Santa Teresa Spirituality Centre, Ormiston.
On this special day you will have the opportunity to explore Franciscan prayer: that is, prayer of the heart centred in God. Enjoy contemplative prayer experiences in the outdoor and indoor spaces at Santa Teresa, come to know St Francis’ Rule for Hermitages based on the Gospel of Luke, and be introduced to Clare of Assisi’s four-fold prayer path to God.
Women’s Retreat

We’re delighted to invite you to a transformative women’s retreat exploring Saint Teresa of Ávila’s Interior Castle. During our time together we will discover the facets of grace available to all of us and Teresa’s beautiful metaphors revealing the beauty and dignity of our souls.
Held in a peaceful and prayerful setting, Santa Teresa’s Spirituality Centre, the retreat invites each participant to enter a castle of grace where Christ dwells at the centre. Through guided reflections, personal prayer, small group sharing and Eucharistic adoration, we will embrace the continual call to interior transformation.
This retreat is for women of all ages who are seeking to connect with God in a creative and fresh way. Whether you’re new to retreat experiences or seasoned, you are very welcome. Come as you are.

Inspired by the apostolic document Lamps Ablaze, the Adult Formation Team of Archdiocesan Ministries is hosting a day of formation and experiential learning with Dr Christopher Knauf. With a professional background in pastoral ministry and educational leadership, Chris is an experienced retreat leader and facilitator of contemplative prayer for both adults and young people. Whether you’re deepening your prayer life or just beginning, this day will equip and inspire you to pray with greater depth and confidence.
